About Clinovations Government + Health
Clinovations Government + Health is a woman and minority-owned small business focused on the intersection of healthcare and policy. Our team serves as guides, translators, and integrators among our stakeholders and sectors.
Located at the intersection of public and private healthcare
We are a District of Columbia Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD) Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) headquartered in Washington, DC. We work daily with federal and health system leaders on our country’s most challenging health and digital health issues. We understand that health challenges are complex and we strive to provide solutions to our clients.
A clinical approach to healthcare, policy, and technology
Anita Samarth and Dr. Trenor Williams started Clinovations as a networking and learning collaborative in 2007 to bring together healthcare executives focused on pressing healthcare issues. In 2008, Clinovations LLC was formed and shortly thereafter, in 2009, Clinovations Inc. (now Clinovations Government + Health, Inc.) was formed to more specifically focus on healthcare and policy with a foundation of technology.
Our unique and unbiased perspective is formed at the intersection of public and private healthcare sectors, with insights into trends and changes emerging from regulation including the Cures Act, the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, and the Affordable Care Act. Our clients include federal and state government agencies, health and hospital systems, professional organizations, and technology developers.
